Jenn is a skilled ecologist and is the director and principal ecologist of Simax Ecology. With a BSc. in Wildlife and Fisheries Management, a MSc. in Biology, a PhD in Biological Sciences and over 15 years of practical research experience she has a versatile skill set. Jenn is highly skilled and knowledgeable in avian conservation and management, particularly waterfowl but over the past 15 years she has conducted field research and surveys in a range of habitats on a variety of species, including fish, mammals and invertebrates. She has been leading and planning ecological projects and conducting robust statistical analyses for the past decade. Jenn’s excellent verbal, written and professional communication skills enables her to effectively present data and information to public and academic or government groups. She is accomplished in maintaining and building relationships with fellow researchers, government organizations, stakeholders, community and Iwi groups.
