Environmental Policy

Simax Ecology is committed to the conservation and sustainability of the environment. This includes pollution prevention, waste reduction and the minimisation of our ecological/carbon footprint.

We do our best to minimise our carbon footprint by:

• reusing renewable products
  
• recycling products that we can no longer use
• purchasing second-hand products if feasible
• reducing fuel consumption by running multiple errands at once, never idling our vehicles, and walking or biking to nearby appointments or stores
• minimizing our paper use and reading as much digital content as possible
• reducing our energy consumption by setting on/off timers on out printer and computer
• purchasing recyclable or ecofriendly products where possible
• composting organic waste
• reducing the use of waste and material by buying in bulk or purchasing materials with less packaging

We advocate for ecological and environmentally friendly practices and use our voice thorough social media to share information on sustainable practices with our clients and colleagues. We constantly seek ways to reduce our footprint and welcome suggestions or recommendations from our clients and peers on alternative methods and products.
